Outpatient Treatment Services for Sex Offenders
Flora Counseling Services, Corp. was created in 1994 by Rudy Flora, a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP), a Licensed Clincial Social Worker (LCSW) and a former probation officer. Flora Counseling offers intensive outpatient treatment services to persons with histories of addictive behaviors and trauma.



Counseling Services throughout Virginia
Based in Abingdon, Virginia, Flora Counseling offers counseling services from the Abingdon location and from an office in Roanoke, Virginia. In 2001, Flora Counseling purchased Community Corrections of Roanoke, which had been in business since 1986. Satellite groups have been established in other areas of Virginia, including Lexington, Hillsville and Wytheville.



Recovery-oriented Treatment
Flora Counseling offers a structured treatment program that promotes recovery. We do comprehensive psycho-sexual assessments and court evaluations, and we provide evaluations for other providers or referring agencies. Cognitive-behavioral therapy, relapse prevention and sexual recovery therapy are preferred models of care. Flora Counseling accepts self referrals, as well as federal, state, regional and local agency referrals.
